When visiting this site, data relative to identified or identifiable people can be processed.  This page describes how this site is managed with reference to how the personal data of the users who consult it is processed.

It is an information notice that has also been implemented pursuant to art. 13 of lgs. d. no. 196/2003 – Data Protection Code – and is only implemented for website www.fbsr.it and not for any other websites that the user accesses through links.

 

THE DATA “OWNER”

The data processing “owner” is Fondazione Benetton Studi Ricerche, based in Treviso, via Cornarotta 7-9.

 

PLACE OF DATA PROCESSING

The data processing activities connected to the web services of this site take place in Italy and are only carried out by the technical staff of the Department appointed to processing, or by anyone occasionally appointed to maintenance operations.
No data deriving from the web service is shared or disclosed.
Personal data provided by visitors sending in requests is only used for the purpose of performing the requested service or activity and is only shared with third parties if necessary for the purpose.

 

TYPES OF PROCESSED DATA

Navigation data
Over the course of normal operation, the information systems and the software procedures that run this website acquire some personal data which is provided implicitly through the use of Internet communication protocols and that could lead to, through processing and associations with data retained by third parties, user identification.
This data is only used for the purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on site use and to check its correct operation. It is deleted immediately after processing.
Data provided voluntarily by the user by optionally, explicitly and voluntarily sending in personal data to the addresses provided on this site leads to the future acquisition of the sender’s address, which is required to reply to the requests, as well as any other personal data entered in the request.

Cookies

The site does not use cookies to send personal information, nor are so-called persistent cookies of any kind used, namely user tracking systems.
The use of session cookies (which are not stored persistently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to sending session identification numbers (comprised of random numbers generated by the system) needed to explore the site safely and efficiently.

 

OPTIONALLY PROVIDING DATA

Apart from what is specified for navigation data, the visitor can freely choose to provide his/her personal data when he/she contacts the Office in charge of public relations.
Failure to provide this data may make it impossible to fulfil the request.

 

PROCESSING METHODS

The personal data is processed using automated instruments strictly for the amount of time required for the purposes it was collected for.
Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorised access.

 

DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS

Subjects providing their personal data have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence, or not, of the data and to know its contents and origin, to verify the accuracy or ask to have it integrated or updated, or corrected (art. 7 of lgs. d. no. 196/2003).
Pursuant to the same article, they have the right to ask to have it deleted, changed into an anonymous format or block data that is processed in violation of the law, as well as, in any case, oppose processing for legitimate reasons.
